Baby on the move.

At 9 months old Molly has started to move, Not in the conventional 'crawl' either. My dear little Molly is a bum shuffler. What started out as a... I am sure I put her near the toy box, how has she got over there? Is now a yep... Shes shuffling along. Its a case of Molly sets her sight on something and she will shuffle till she can get it. She mostly tries to get Mia's lego. Needless to say Mia is now starting to get a bit ticked off with her sisters constant shuffling to get her lego box and having to move it away from her so Molly doesn't choke.
Luckily for me, She isn't at a speed were she can't be caught or stopped. She's still pretty slow but she has sped up over the past week or so.
Now comes the fun part. I have no doubt that she is just going to get faster and that baby proofing will be soon under way. Nothing non-baby-able above shelf height.

And that makes two.

The reason for the screaming and fighting sleep? Miss Molly cut her second tooth in the space of a week.

I'm so surprised her screaming never woke her big sister. Nothing would settle her, it was awful.
This morning her cheeks are rosy red but she seems in better spirits.

Sleep?

It feels like a distant memory. I know the sleepless nights won't last forever but jeeze louise, I could really go for a full uninterrupted 8hrs sleep. Is that really still too much to ask?
What's prompted this blog post?
It's 11.42pm and those blasted teeth are giving Molly hell... So much so that she has decided she no longer wands to partake in this sleeping activity. I'm not really surprised she's been on a sleeping ban all day.
She wasn't a great sleeper before teething, now it's like I have a newborn again.
*yawn*

A book?

I've been thinking a lot over the past few days about how I would like to write a children's book. I have a few ideas that I want to try out. Obviously this is just going to be a hobby/for fun project, something to attempt while the girls are in bed in an evening.
I will also try and do the illustrations too.
I guess we shall see how much of this comes to fruition in the future! :)

Who Am I?

I am Emma, a twenty-something SAHM (stay at home mum) to, two wonderful little girls. I am also married to my wonderful husband of 3 and a half years. We are originally from a seaside town called Cleethorpes but relocated in July to a very small town called Hedon.

Our eldest is Mia, she entered this world after a very long failed induction that ended up with an emergency c-section on the 27th October 2007 weighing 8lb8oz. I was barely nineteen my self so needless to say parenthood was a shock but we've done well. At nearly five years old her personality is in full force development mode. Shes head strong and very clever. Her sense of humor can reduce a room to tears of laughter in seconds. A couple of her favourite things are the colour pink and Dr Who.

Our youngest is Molly, She came into the world on the 13th February 2012 weighing 6lb1oz. At 8 months old she is currently getting to grips with the world around her and learning new things all the time. She is dairy intolerant so trying solids has been a different experience this time around.

I am starting this blog as a place to but thoughts/feelings/comments etc down. I am not promising to update everyday but I will try and update as much as I can but with two kids time isn't exactly going spare these days!
